Egyptian Collars

I have spent some time recently creating some new and more elaborate Egyptian collars. Egyptian collars were worn from around 3000 BCE to 300 BCE, when the Romans conquered Egypt. Probably why today they are also known as Cleopatra collars. The collars were worn to stand out, as many Egyptian clothes were quite plain. Egyptian collars were also in very high demand in the 1920s when they were also seen in Vogue.

I used a traditional netting pattern on all the designs and elaborated on them slightly.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them.
